I was so frustrated with always having bread dough climb the dough hook and get all over the mixer. Nothing seemed to help. I saw this and tried it as a last resort. It works! No more dough scaling the dough hook into the mixer. I am so happy with it, I bought one for a friend so when I go make bread there, I won't be without it!
This adaptation fit like a glove on the dough hook of my Kitchen Aid bowl lift mixer. It was super easy to clip on. I haven’t used it yet but I have every anticipation that it will keep my bread dough out of my machine.
It’s an excellent product, but I couldn’t use it. I w as very sorry it wouldn’t work for me.
This item is used as a shield to prevent you dough from gather and climbing up into your mixer! It was plastic very flimsy and the spiral dough hook that I ordered to go with. It didn’t even fit in it properly. It was too large for it. There was two different caps to size. Your dough hook to fit The smallest one was too big. That’s why am returning this item
