I was told by friends not to waste my money because these compostable bags tear easily and do not hold up. Well, I want those who are reading this to know these bags are just great. I use them in my kitchen garbage pail and bring them to outside trash when they are full. There have been no tears or problems. I will say that I do not stuff them, or put crazy sharp stuff in them. I put things in GENTLY! The best part is how I feel about using compostable bags to begin with. I also use them when I put small stuff in the fridge or freezer; things that are already wrapped or sealed, just to organize things. Go for it!
